--ACIS R16 Update
The modeling kernel ACIS, was updated to support ACIS R16 SP7. The new kernel provides updates the core modeling features as well as updates to the STEP, IGES, PROE, and CATIA v4 translators.

Corrected several problems preventing Concepts from running under the Vista operating system.
--New Symbol Library
A 26,000+ symbol library is now available for Concepts Unlimited. The new symbol library includes parts from mechanical, AEC, electrical, and plant/piping design.

Concepts Unlimited 2.0 Service Pack 3 is now officially released. SP3 contains an update to ACIS (ACIS R13 SP9), plus some minor bug corrections.

144. If you stitch a solid together from surfaces and dont check for closure, the
body would cull backfaces upon display. It now displays correctly.

CU SP3 has been released from the development team. SP3 continues our commitment to quality focused Service Packs for our customers. SP3 includes corrections for the following items:
1. Updated SP3 to use ACIS R12 SP6. The new acis service packs address over 50 kernel corrections plus updates to the IGES, STEP, and CATIA v4 translators.
2. Corrected problem where delete/cut could remove an invisible objects (layers or show/hide).
3. Corrected a problem related to dynamic displaying of PICTS/BMP images on OSX.
4. Corrected a problem with shelling and Mac OSX Panther. Certain installations of CU would have permission problems that did not allow some commands to work.
5. Corrects several problems with layers and the IGES, STEP, and CATIA translators.
6. Corrects a problem with assigning short cut keys to the line tools.
7. Corrects a problem with the BOM dialog fields getting confused with other BOM attributes.
8. Corrects a problem with incorrect pen weights of curves after flattening draw views.
9. Trimming curves inside a draw view would produce a curve with an incorrect pen weight.

The official release of Concepts Unlimited is build 526. Build 526 has over 200 changes since our first alpha build. Some notable changes include:

• Updated ACIS Kernel with hundreds of corrections associated with blending, shelling, local operations. CU 1.0 uses ACIS R12.
